Invitation to the Madison Fire Department's Museum Exhibit Premiere

Project: To create a booklet of Madison's firefighting history to correspond with an exhibit hosted by The Wisconsin Historical Museum.

The booklet was created to commemorate 150 years of Madison's firehouses. It served as a keepsake for donors, who helped restore artifacts and station flags. I designed and laid out the booklet with images provided by The Wisconsin Historical Museum. Several of the images required retouching, especially the flag reconstruction photos. Emulating the design of the times, I used a vintage image to created an invitation to the premiere of the event.
